Baker/Pastry Chef
We are seeking a baker/pasty chef, passionate about local, fresh, and seasonal food to be a part of the Sugar Water Family. The ideal candidate will have experience in bread, pastry, desert, pasta making, food preparation, food safety, and working in a restaurant or food service environment. This team member will have the ability to collaborate with our executive chef and chef de cuisine.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook delicious and high-quality bread, pastry, pasta and baked goods following our menu, recipes and bringing ideas to the table
- Work directly with the owners to establish a bread, baking and pastry program
- Bring new and inventive ideas to the table
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory of food and supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff, and front of house team to provide excellent dining experiences for our customers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
**Experience & Skills:**
- Proven experience as a Cook or relevant role in the food industry
- Proven experience in bread, baking, pasta and pastry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with others as a team player

This team member will have the ability to collabrate with our executive chef with 20+ years of experience from the East Coast.

Housekeeper/Laundry
Sugar Water is a hospitality brand in Somerset County, MD. These positions will consist of housekeeping and laundry services split between the farm house lodges and the hotel in Westover and Princess Anne, MD. Our goal is to provide a safe, warm, welcoming, and fun environment to work in.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper/Laundry person to join our team. In this Housekeeper/Laundry position , you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel rooms, lodge homes, main home and ensuring that all linens, towels and other items are properly laundered. This position is also responsible for organizing and other tasks when needed
**Responsibilities**
- Clean and sanitize hotel rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms
- Empty trash containers
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and towels
- Operate laundry equipment according to instructions and safety guidelines
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Organization when needed and assist with opening cleaning of the hotel and restaurant.
**Experience & Skills:**
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred
- Knowledge of dry-cleaning techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
